GREAT GRIPS PRODUCT REDESIGN Client: Great Grips; Design Problem: A local Colorado Springs company, Great Grips, created a doorknob grip cover aimed at the elderly population which had sold over 1 million units. Great Grips was seeking to revamp and modernize their design to appeal to a broader customer base and take their sales to the next level. Solution: MIND Studios streamlined the Great Grips design, adding improved ergonomic function and increased aesthetic appeal. Additional grip concept covers were also created for a variety of applications to expand their product line offering. The new patent protected design is currently in production and will be replacing their old design in the marketplace in 2009.
